Mel Fisher Museum: History Channel’s Deep Sea Detectives
The public is invited to view the History Channel's Deep Sea Detectives program, Slave Ship Uncovered, on the discovery of the slave ship Henrietta Marie, at the Mel Fisher Maritime Museum, located at 200 Greene Street. This ship's artifacts are not only archived at the museum, but they are also featured in a new traveling exhibit that has been developed by the Mel Fisher Museum in partnership with the Frasier Museum in Louisville. This exhibit earned high praise recently from the Wall Street Journal and will begin its national tour in June.
