Parade tonight…

If you’re planning on hitting the streets tonight please keep in mind that the Key West High School Homecoming will be having their parade at 6:30pm. The parade route is listed below; roads will be blocked off during the parade and may be congested for a few minutes afterwards as people move to the football stadium. (This is a short parade, so interruptions to traffic are expected to be brief.)

Go Conchs!

The parade will begin at the corner of Flagler Avenue & South Roosevelt Boulevard, heading westbound, turning right onto Kennedy Drive and ending at Tommy Roberts Memorial Stadium.

This exciting event will run all week, with the boats (and their crews) shoring up each night, giving visitors access to see these incredible machines up close and personal. With thousands of fans in town for the races, the parties are sure to be memorable; all across the island, at bars, restaurants and other Key West hotels you are sure to find a lively bunch of speed boat enthusiasts who will be more than happy to share a drink and explain why their favorite boat is guaranteed to win. And as for the races themselves? Well, those are once in a lifetime. Do not miss this wild event!
